Reviews: Car tunnel which takes you underneath water and what would happen to you if there was a massive explosion and hot waves of fire came billowing in upon you. In this fiction it occurred in New York and some of the lives which survived make their way to safety. I have watched the documentary. All-in-all it was a good film and the hair-raising excitement is there. Rob Cohen (the director — he also did Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story, Dragonheart [with Sean Connery as the dragon], and XXX [Vin Diesel]) did a fine job with this.
Strange tho that, at the end of the film the Twin Towers stand majestically in the background. 5 years later the Twin Towers would be gone under a terrorist attack. What occurred in this film where 3 “terrorist,” or criminals are trying to make their way thru in a high-speed chase, only to run into a truck with high-explosive charge that they too were not supposed to be in that tunnel…hmmm…something that God is trying to tell us? |
